This 2 slot active riser card contains a fast switching logic array for improved compatibility and full bandwidth switching of PCI devices, but is physically the same size as the VIA dual risers.
We recommend the VIA Dual Risers for EPIA SP boards, and for better compatibility when using 2 tuner cards.
Fully Windows and Linux compatible. The lower slot is the same device number as the motherboard (DN20), and the upper slot can be set from DN12-DN19 (DN19 is the default) .
The riser faces the PCI cards away from the motherboard and is not reversible. It will not work with the Cubid or MiniCube cases – there is not enough space inside. You can use these cards in your own projects, Eve cases, and the Travla C137 cases, other cases do not have enough space inside. Please note the EPIA boards were designed to work with only one PCI card – we cannot guarantee compatibility with dual risers and all products.
